Jake Drecker, “nice Jewish kid from Hawaii,” is a US special operator who hunts terrorists disguised as a burqa-clad woman. His team is on a covert mission into Pakistan to terminate a brutal terrorist who may or may not be holding an American missionary hostage. But Isidore Loewenthal is not your average missionary. He’s a former spy with dangerous secrets in his head. Unknown to the team is Loewenthal other secret identity. After Drecker’s team deploys, Lieutenant Colonel Mike Sanchez, Drecker’s friend and boss, unravels the mystery of the hostage’s identity. He also discovers the CIA has taken steps to terminate the hostage to protect national secrets — along with Drecker’s team as collateral damage — if the rescue plan goes awry. Their mission is further complicated by the presence of a rogue Israeli Commando team with its own target list. On reconnaissance inside the target area, Drecker is captured and made a prisoner – and the most unlikely of reunions takes place. Here, Drecker discovers they are set to be executed the next day with the event filmed for news release. Meanwhile, outside the terrorist compound, the operation unravels. Sanchez watches helplessly as a CIA drone strike executes the final option meant to take out Lowenthal and cover-up the evidence of their failed mission. He knows this means the death of Drecker. Or does it?
