Taylor and Gordon were high school sweethearts in the small Rocky Mountain town of Digby, Colorado. Scholarships, family moves, college and simple growing pains pulled them apart. To Gordon it felt more like betrayal since Taylor left without saying good-bye. Circumstances left them both feeling betrayed, abandoned and brokenhearted, but they moved forward with their careers. Gordon became the local veterinarian, and Taylor accepted a scholarship from the people of Digby to finish her medical degree, which requires her to return to practice in her hometown for a specified number of years.

Tenderness, heartache, and hilarity ensue as a larcenous bear, a mischievous boy, local expectations, and personal memories wreak havoc on their relationship. I hope you enjoy this story, which RT Book Club calls “Erotically charged and emotionally heartwarming.” Happy reading!
