The third medieval saga by Tom Nelson, “Warrior of the Dusk” chronicles the life of Alfred of Rence, a knight in the high middle ages. Alfred joins a group of young knights led by Andre, who seeks the return of his betrothed, Juliette, who has been kidnapped by the marauding King Ullerick. To pass the time during their journey, Alfred entertains the group with tales of his colorful life. Although the names of places and events have been changed to create a sort of alternative reality, the reader will certainly recognize many elements of the story that reflect the history of medieval Europe. “Warrior of the Dusk” is a tale of adventure, romance, brutality and heroism.
