Some Top Outlets to Submit your book for FREE (some have paid options as well):
Readers Favorite offers free reviews. They do offer paid reviews, but it’s not necessary. Just submit your book for free and it normally takes about 3 months to receive a review. If you have your manuscript completed a few months before the release date, you can submit it early to hopefully receive a review by your release date.
Publishers Weekly’s BookLife is another great resource for book reviews. You can register free and then add your profile and upload your books. Only about 5-8% of the books are actually chosen for a review, but it’s a great marketing resource as well.
The Romance Reviews
If you have a romance novel, you can create a FREE account at The Romance Reviews, and submit your book for a possible review.
Uncaged Book Reviews
Uncaged Book Reviews is a fairly new site that offers reviews for various genres, check out their page for specific genres.
While Foreword Magazine offers a paid book review service, through Clarion Reviews, they also offer a FREE service. It’s best to get your book in 2-4 months before publication date. Visit their site for more information.
San Francisco Book Review
FREE Book Reviews from San Francisco and Manhattan Book Reviews. They do have a paid book review service, but we suggest just submitting the book for a free one.
