Should Everything That Church Leadership Teaches Be Viewed As God’s Will Without Examination By The ures?

Can The Teachings And Decisions Made By Those In Leadership be Questioned?

Can A Wrong Action Committed By Leadership Be Justified If The End Result Is That It Seemingly Furthers The Kingdom Of God?

This book will help you to understand the leadership model that espouses these kinds of teachings, and how, through it, a church wrongfully uses the Word of God to their own advantage. Furthermore, you will be informed that there is a way out from under this unreasonable exercise of power and exploitation.

You will be introduced to a different leadership model that will provide for you a perspective concerning these topics in which the leadership instead leads by their examples of mature Christian character, such as would be emulated by others.

Atheism/Religion – Atheism’s Dilemma

Atheism's DilemmaAtheism’s Dilemma

This book is not another argument against atheism. Instead, it is a wake-up call to alert atheists that there is scientific evidence which proves metaphysical reality. The scientific verification of reincarnation reveals the human dual nature of body and soul, because the soul, with mind, memory, and free will, must separate from the dying body to subsequently join another unborn body. There is nothing physical in the migration. This continued spiritual existence reveals that death is not the end of human existence but a gateway to an eternal life. Consequently, atheism’s rebellion against spirituality is doomed to eventual irrelevance as a baseless ideology. With what will atheism replace this meaningless ideology to continue as a viable belief? This is atheism’s dilemma of accepting or rejecting scientific fact.

Being a child of God can be confusing at times. Does serving Him mean doing only what He tells us, or do we have authority to act on our own? If we’re doing His will, should we expect Him to do everything for us? Why should we ask for His will to be done on earth or say “Amen” to His promises? Why would He be interested in our thoughts and desires?

This book addresses these questions and many more by examining the nature of our relationship with God. He is pleased to grant us privileges, responsibilities and authority as members of His family, allow us to conduct His business and even influence His decisions. We’re to reign on earth and have a cooperative, interdependent relationship with our heavenly Father. Only then can we be Royal Partners with Him, work beyond our ability and produce extraordinary results.

By Jane Larkin
Published: July 2014
ISBN: 978-1495301520
ASIN: B00N85D8R6
Genre: Personal Narrative
Formats Available For Review: Paperback, ebook

An inspirational tale of love and faith, From Generation to Generation tells the true story of one Jewish woman as she struggles to navigate the difficulties of interfaith dating–and its inspiration behind her surprising religious reawakening.

Jane Larkin knew the statistics: those belonging to interfaith households are more likely to lose their beliefs, neglect regular worship, and raise nonreligious children.

All of this and more spurs her to marry a man whom she doesn’t love, but who nevertheless shares her faith. Their marriage quickly crumbles, and Jane finds herself falling in love with
a non-Jewish man. Before she knows it, Jane commits to the exact thing she had hoped to avoid: an interfaith marriage.

As the newlyweds attempt to navigate their respective religions, Jane embarks on a journey that brings her face-to-face with her deepest fears–and a religious skeleton in her genealogical closet that will change everything.

True Crime/Religion – Letters to a Lifer

Letters to a LiferLetters to a Lifer
The Boy ‘Never to be Released’

Publisher: Waterside Press
Published: January 2015
ISBN: 978-1909976153

Genre: Memoir, Non-fiction, Christian, crime
Formats Available For Review: print (limited quantities, only available to qualified reviewers/bloggers in the U.S.), kindle

Letters to a Lifer provides a rare insight into life without parole (LWOP) for juveniles in the USA. A true story from Pennsylvania, it is a compelling tale of faith and redemption.

In the summer of 1999, America’s Most Wanted broadcast the hunt for two homeless teenagers fleeing a double homicide near my hometown in northeast PA. When police finally apprehended them, it astonished me that one of the thugs was just fifteen years old, the same age as my oldest son. Like the rest of our community, I celebrated when he was captured and sentenced to life without parole. But if I’d known the truth, that one day our family would actually love this young man, I would have recoiled in horror.

Letters to a Lifer is the true story of how a law enforcement officer and his wife became involved with a young man sentenced to life in prison as a minor. Initially introduced through his wildlife art, we were eventually able to see beyond the crime to the man he had become. The book includes excerpts of the prisoner’s original letters and journal.
