This is a straight to the point book about the ever-growing problem of BULLYING that children are experiencing today in addition to its being a topic that appears to have been kept silent for decades, with the appearance of few to no solutions.  The book considers the author’s perspective as she survived the devastation of bullying while in school.  She suggests several methods for parents to handle it via religion and legal routes. She also discusses the problem of guns on college campuses, etc. and suggestions to solving this problem.  It is not a long book, because she hits the topics straight on with solutions she suggests to PREVENT and STOP Bullying in its tracks, because of the horrible side effects on children such as depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and suicide.

Social Issues/Public Affairs – Guardianship: How Judges and Lawyers Steal Your Money

GUARDIANSHIP is the 2016 Gold Medal Winner for Current Events II (Social Issues / Public Affairs / Ecological / Humanitarian) Excellence eLit Book Award.

It’s difficult to believe it happens, but forced guardianship fraud runs unchecked throughout the nation’s probate courts. Deemed incapacitated by the courts, elderly citizens are robbed of all decision-making rights and assigned professional guardians whose only interest lies in profiting from their vulnerable charges’ estates.

Guardianship exposes a web of murderous profiteering, all sanctioned by a corrupt legal system. As guardianship firms take everything they can, state attorneys turn a blind eye. Crooked cops harass family members into silence, while the very attorneys you hired won’t help for fear of losing their licenses.

These are the people who may one day control your loved one’s health care, living arrangements, finances, and very life. Ostensibly created to prevent financial abuse by caregivers and family members, professional guardianship instead gave the legal system carte blanche to destroy lives – as author Michael Larsen discovered when his family tried to help a friend suffering under a corrupt guardianship firm.

IMAGINE: You or your parent is forcibly removed from their home and kept secluded in an undisclosed location. The home is sold, the proceeds looted and life savings are extorted. If this occurs to your parent, you are barred from seeing them as perjured accusations were made against you by people who are financially exploiting your parent’s assets. If this occurs to you, your children are barred from seeing you. You or your parent are restrained with illegal psychotropic drugs to be kept incoherent. Your constitutional rights or those of your parent are stripped and you are denied legal counsel. You are forced to keep silent and not report these crimes as you are threatened with false imprisonment. After you or your parent’s life savings have been stolen, you or your parent are put to death. Now imagine these atrocities are taking place within the legal system in the probate courts across the United States.
